zipping around a plastic and metal
solar system
blue and green and yellow
flushed with fiery exuberance.
Satellites roam sedately
silent observers
blinking shy lonely lights.
A meteorite slams to earth
in a shower of rock and tears
and the shooting stars disperse
zooming to new destinations.
