This was taken as the sun rose over Kodachrome State Park in Utah. I hadn't really thought about how long it would take the sun to rise over the surrounding cliffs, so I had about an hour to sit on my little ledge and watch the light slowly wash over the valley, and wait for it to get to me. It was worth the wait, and the surprise visitor in the form of a hot air balloon made the shot.Friday, July 2, 2010
